The ACFE is the world's largest member organization dedicated to the prevention and detection of fraud. The organization provides a comprehensive range of educational resources, training  programs,  and  professional  development opportunities for its members.

This prestigious designation marks a major milestone in Ruhl’s career and highlights her dedication to protecting both our customers and the bank from fraud.

Ruhl began her career with Mifflinburg Bank & Trust in 2000 as a Teller/Customer Service Representative and has steadily advanced to her current leadership role. Over the years, she has played a pivotal role in enhancing the bank’s fraud prevention and security practices. She has created ongoing trainings for our team to be proactive in protecting our customers against fraud in addition to drafting policies and procedures to prevent fraudulent activity. Beyond her responsibilities at the bank, she also volunteers her time to provide fraud awareness trainings throughout the community.

Her commitment to integrity, education, and community outreach makes her especially deserving of the CFE designation.

The CFE is a globally recognized credential that represents expertise in fraud detection, prevention, and investigation. With months of preparation required, the CFE designation requires its participants to pass four separate examinations in order to receive the certification. Ruhl’s accomplishment reflects her deep understanding of complex fraud examination techniques and her ability to apply them effectively in real-world scenarios.
